Jewellery Care
Keeping your jewellery beautiful
Every piece is created to accompany you in everyday life and on special occasions. Thoughtful care can help preserve its radiance and craftsmanship over time.
Water
Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear. Nevertheless, we recommend avoiding prolonged or repeated contact with water, particularly salt water or chlorinated water, wherever possible to protect the surface over time.
Perfume & cosmetics
Perfume, lotions, sunscreen, hairspray and other cosmetic products can affect the surface of jewellery. We recommend putting your jewellery on only after applying these products and allowing them to absorb fully.
Sport & physical activities
We recommend removing jewellery before intensive exercise, swimming, using a sauna or other activities involving increased moisture or substantial strain.
Storage
Store your pieces as dry as possible and separately from one another to avoid scratches and unnecessary abrasion. The original packaging or a jewellery box is ideal.
Cleaning
A soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth is usually sufficient for cleaning. Avoid aggressive cleaning products and abrasive materials.
Gold-plated jewellery
With careful handling, gold-plated pieces can retain their beauty for a long time. As with all gold-plated surfaces, normal wear can lead to natural changes over time.
Pearls
Pieces featuring freshwater cultured pearls deserve special attention. To preserve their natural beauty for as long as possible, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact with water and direct contact with perfume, cosmetics and other chemical products.
If needed, clean the pearls gently with a soft cloth and store them separately from other jewellery to prevent scratches.
A final thought
Jewellery accompanies memories, special moments and everyday life. By caring for it thoughtfully, you help ensure that you can enjoy your piece for a long time.
